The RB Chorale has begun rehearsals for its 45th season, celebrating “The Greatest Show Woman” – chorale director and founder Pat Bean. New singers must join by Feb. 19 to take part in the upcoming Spring Scholarship Award show. Tenors and basses are especially sought, but all voices are welcome. Rehearsals take place Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. at Painted Rock Elementary School.
This year’s scholarship show will be held June 8 and 9 at Poway Center for the Performing Arts, with the first half directed by Pat Bean and the second half a special tribute to her leadership and commitment over the past 45 years. Scholarship finalists will perform as well. Scholarship applications are due April 20, and the program is open to musically talented high school students planning to further their education.
