The Poway Valley Garden Club (PVGC) instated its 2018-2019 board and announced awards for the previous year at a June luncheon and ceremony. Ann Dahnke and Donna Kaptain are this year’s co-presidents.

The club also won the CGCI #1 Community Impact Award and Kellogg Civic Achievement Award. On the national level, PVGC won first place for the National Garden Club’s Community Beautification Award.
