The North County Philanthropy Council (NCPC) recently recognized 75 Volunteers of the Year at its 29th Annual Volunteer Awards Luncheon. Over 500 guests attended the event to honor and celebrate volunteers from across North County, including the youngest honoree at age 12, the youngest honoree at heart at age 101, and even a canine volunteer for the first time. Recipients included Ahmed Haque from the North County Food Bank, Lisa Ruder from the San Diego Foundation, Kaj Leonard from the Women’s Resource Center, and Matt and Sarah Frazier from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.
