Poway Chamber Launches Marketing Series in May
The Poway Chamber of Commerce will host a three-part Lunch & Learn marketing series, Successful Marketing in the Digital Age: How to Reach Today’s Customers by Leveling the Playing Field. The Poway Chamber’s Marketing Advisory Team, a volunteer committee, is responsible for planning this event.
The first event of the series will take place on Wednesday, May 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Barbara Wickman of RevLocal will kick off the event with a presentation on the history of marketing and internet marketing, as well as an overview of search engines, social media, email marketing and blogging.
On Wednesday, June 11, Kevin Gyberg of B2 Software Inc. will give a presentation on simple & effective strategies to convert website visitors into customers. On Wednesday, July 9, John Walker of Talent Evolution will lead a discussion on using LinkedIn applications to build your brand & heighten your visibility, recognizing business opportunities on LinkedIn and who is tweeting and why.
Each of the Lunch & Learns will take place at Mainstream Bar and Grill, 13385 Poway Rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost for members is $15 and $25 for non-members. Lunch is included.
